Book Stuff

I’ve been fairly unwell the past 6 or so months. Battling tiredness and lack of motivation.
As such I’ve decided to no longer do realism or commissions along those lines. Focusing most of the little time I can muster together on my story stuff.

I have started up a patreon account. More to drive me forwards than anything. I hope to make lots of sketches and little concept pieces to upload there for first looks.

These two sketches I did some time back actually. Hand drawn with ink and copic marker (fakes) then digitally coloured. The left is known as an Afradian Death Garden. The extinct race usually cremated their dead, or buried them in family/communal gardens were trees were planted in memorial. Markees Garden lies within the abandoned city of Wayel-Eaa.

The command Tent is self explanatory. This is supposed to be Anotole’s Tent. The DragonLord who took a final host south to defeat a rival power.

Some of the most recognisable people within Middle Dífrun are the Teachers, or the Scholars. These are a semi religious organisation that is in charge with education and entertainment.

All Scholars wear the white robes, though the shading and style can vary from region and personal preference. (really it’s a hat tip to Anne McCaffrey)

Each Master’s robe is individually embroided with white or silver thread, making no two alike. The patterns show what they are master in and their individual accomplishments. The embroidery is added as they continue their education.

The robes are connected with the old spell casters. Where it was said that the colour of the robe determined the type of mastery of the universe the individual had. Blue being the colour of knowledge.
