The Skyship of Truskal:

Newest released book: 1st August 2025

This is a very different beast from the Book of Ominiue Series. Lighter, more consumer friendly. It’s about a girl who wants to explore the world.

Telana doesn’t want to settle down — she wants to soar!

Truskal was said to be the village at the end of the world, but Telana knew that probably wasn’t so. There was the great icewall that was said to go all around the world, so large that it dwarfed mountains. Telana was determined to find out if that was true. But there was one hitch. Only boys are allowed in the fancy big schools. At least that was until she came along. It will be a long fight before she even sets sail. Between breaking centuries of tradition to antagonising dragonriders and their lucrative taxi service, she’d have a hard fight to just build her dream machine, let alone try and fly it.

Part 1: Starborn

Earth has expanded beyond its own Solar System; stretching out to hundreds of worlds. The newest planet discovered shows signs of “true” alien life. Excitement rippled across the known worlds as the first wave of colonisation was sent.

The native aliens had a legend. One day a people from the stars would come to their world. The prophecy foretold that amongst them would be one man who was not like the others, and this man would bring back their god from oblivion.

Shayne Forrester is one of the new colonists. He was employed as the head physicist and the planet-side coordinator in constructing the “Gateway” the hyperspace jump point that would connect the new world to the Union, but he suffered a rare degeneration that stripped him of his colonisation rights. The moment the native aliens met him they held no doubt that he was the one and they declared him: Afra’hama, ‘The Messenger from the Stars,’ the one who would bring the change.

Forced between the prophecies of the new world and his duty to the colony Shayne embarks upon an adventure of discovery. With help from a native scholar, Shayne uncovers a world rich in culture and myths. A world that is vastly different from the one he came from, and constantly his understanding of the universe is tested as strange events unfold around him. As he struggles against the powers that surround him he’s slowly forced into the prophecies and knowledge that his actions would affect not only the planet, but every colonised world.

The Book of Ominiue is an honest combination of classic political sci-fi and high fantasy. It is an attempt to combine both faith and science into one universe.

Part 2: Lionman

It’s been ten years and Shayne Forrester is facing extradition back to Earth to settle his fate once and for all. A dread fills him for he knows this is one battle he cannot win. The prophecy was short lived it seemed and his time had run out.

The lionman, Kíe’athraden is also waiting. As one of the many selected Ambassadors he will not only represent his nation, but also his planet. As the first real alien ambassador he knows his life will change beyond recognition, the real question is how much?

Iraquis Casader is about to connect to the colonised worlds of Earth for the first time. There is no going back. Nothing will ever be the same.
